About Us

Our Purpose

At IIC, we believe that arriving in a new country is only the beginning of an immigrant’s journey. We work to address the real challenges that follow—such as:

  • Cultural barriers

  • Isolation and displacement

  • Prejudice and racism

  • Language and communication gaps

Through advocacy, education, and outreach, we help immigrants define their roles, responsibilities, and rights within their new communities.

Founded in 2005, Immigrant Information Center, Inc. (IIC) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New York State. Our mission is to foster cross-cultural understanding, support the professional development of individuals, and build global partnerships that empower immigrant communities.

We are dedicated to advancing literary and educational opportunities for immigrants and refugees in the United States, while promoting equal rights, civic engagement, and community integration.
